Long-term, Home, and Community-based Health Care
Chambliss is dedicated to providing sound, holistic legal advice to clients in the aging community. For decades, we have advised long-term care companies, home and community-based health care organizations, medical professionals, and individuals on legal matters ranging from conservatorships to Medicare to care coordination. Our diverse team with backgrounds in health care, elder law, litigation, business, and estate planning, has worked with a wide variety of clients over the years. This allows us to see each client's issue from multiple perspectives. It's this unique combined experience that leads our team to provide forward-thinking solutions, quickly identify issues, and plan for the unexpected.
We have a broad network of clients and resources including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement home communities, hospices, acute care and mental health hospitals, home health agencies, and sitter services. One member of the team may be working on employment agreements for a home care company in the morning and working on compliance for a long-term care facility in the afternoon. Another team member may be finding a conservator for someone who has no family and no longer has capacity to make personal decisions while another works to find the best housing option for a client's aging mother with dementia. If a dispute arises, we have a great track record of success with alternative dispute resolution – whether that be through mediation or arbitration. We have also represented clients in court and have gone all the way to trial.
Throughout the entire process, our team will remain responsive and pragmatic. Given our personal and professional experience in the aging industry, we are dedicated to anticipating our clients' needs, ensuring they know all options available, and obtaining the best results possible.
