In an interview by WDEF News 12, Justin Furrow, labor and employment chair and COVID-19 task force co-chair for Chambliss, covered OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard for vaccinations and testing and how it impacts employers.
On November 4, 2021, the deadline of January 4, 2022, was released for mandatory requirements to aid the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Private employers with 100 or more employees are required to have their employees prove their vaccination status or submit to weekly testing. Justin shared legal perspective on the controversial topic and what this means for Tennessee businesses.
