Logan Threadgill represents clients in a broad spectrum of business litigation matters in state and federal courts. He also frequently represents clients in arbitrations and mediations for various construction-related matters, including cases involving defective design and construction claims, warranty claims, payment disputes, and breach of contract claims. Additionally, he counsels clients on myriad contract-related issues involving insurance, limitation of liability and exculpatory clauses, indemnification provisions, dispute resolution provisions, warranties, and others. Logan also has significant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, including construction contracts and professional services agreements for architecture and engineering firms. He has a deep understanding of certain statutory rights pertinent to the construction industry, including rights arising out of Tennessee’s Mechanic's and Materialmen's Lien Statute, the Prompt Pay Act, and the Consumer Protection Act.
While a significant portion of his practice is devoted to the construction industry, he also has valuable experience in other areas of the law. He often advises clients in the financial services industry and represents local, regional, and national banks and credit unions with contract claims, loan disputes, and bankruptcy matters, including adversary proceedings. And he's represented clients involved with disputes ranging from product liability claims, fraud claims, real estate disputes, personal injury claims, and others. No matter the issue, he seeks to have a firm understanding of each client's goals from the onset of any matter, and he strives to achieve them with tenacity and efficiency.
