VIDEO: Major Changes Coming for Employers
Yesterday, two federal agencies published rules that will have a dramatic impact on employers. First, the Department of Labor significantly increased the salary threshold for determining an employee’s exemption from the Fair Labor Standards Act’s overtime requirements. Then, the Federal Trade Commission passed a rule banning all employee noncompetition agreements. In this video, Justin Furrow briefly explains the impact of each rule.
